While I like the design of the clothing, the colors just... They really do clash. A lot. The main problem I have with her Casual outfit is just the colors. The Design is actually neat, but the colors are really bad clashing. I suggest just wiping every ounce of color from her and trying different ones that don't clash c:
Her Fancy outfit I can't really critique cuz there isn't a picture for it. But I can say that because it's blue, and her hair is bright red, that it /will clash/, and /badly/. D: The colors need to be changed on that too, though I can't say for the design because, well, I can't see it. Though I do like the idea of her hair being curly c:
Weapons and Powers n'stuff. Mkay. Fire is extremely overused. Not that it's a bad thing to have it, i'm just saying, well, she's a cat, and a Pyro? Sound kinda familiar? *points at Blaze* And Light Wings are kinda toughing on the Mary-Sue thing too. :c And the Guns, while guns are not a bad choice of weapon, is there actually a reason that it shoots light and fire? That doesn't make much sense.
Example: I have a character (that isn't in the Sonic fandom, mind you, but still a good example), that is a Demon under the rule of Astaroth. Because of this, he can summon lesser Astaroth category familiars for aid, and has the abilities of Rot (considering Astaroth is the Rot demon king etc.)
So make sure that your powers have a reason that they are there :o Or else, it's just like anything else. I mean, even Superman has reasoning behind his powers.

AP BIO Review: Cell Communication!
In Bacteria:
Primitive bacteria secrete molecules that enable them to respond to changes in population density. This is called quorum sensing and an example can be found in bioluminescent bacteria that only produce luciferin when populations of bacteria are big enough, not when they're small/alone.
In Plants and Animals:
Tight Junctions: These snazzy belts are found around epithelial (skin) cells that line organs and prevent leakage into or out of these organs. For example, you wouldn't want urine leaking out of your bladder; thankfully, tight junctions prevent the urine (which contains urea) from leaking into the surrounding body cavity.
Desmosomes: These often occur in tissues that are often subjected to severe stress (no, not your brain, although school does that to all of us). To counteract the severe mechanical stress, desmosomes act as spot welds that rivet the cells of, say, the uterus together so that during childbirth, the uterus does not tear or anything terrible like that.
Gap Junctions and Plasmodesmata: The same thing, but gap junctions occur in animals and plasmodesmata occur in plants (think plasmodesmata, plants!) These simply permit materials to pass directly from the cytoplasm of one cell to its adjacent cell. For example, in the cardiac tissue of the heart, the flow of ions through gap junctions helps coordinate cardiac contractions. Types of Signaling: Depends on Distance
Autocrine (self) signals diffuse from one part of a cell to another part within the same cell.
Synaptic signaling involves neurotransmitters that bridge the gaps between a neuron's axon and its neighboring neuron's dendrites.
Paracrine signals send messages to nearby cells with diffusion.
Exocrine signals involve secretion of materials through ducts (like tears, saliva, bile from the liver)
Endocrine signals send messages through the blood stream and are long distance.
So what exactly is a signal transduction pathway?
Signal transduction pathways are how cells interpret the signals they receive from other cells. This all begins when...
Specific signaling chemicals called ligands bind to receptors on the target cell.
If the ligand is hydrophilic, it will bind to a membrane receptor.
If the ligand is hydrophobic (like steroids aka testosterone), it will pass through the phospholipid membrane and enter the cell where it directly controls the expression of genes. This is how testosterone brings out those manly traits in guys.
2. The receptor is activated and "transduces" the signal into something the cell can recognize, with the use of messenger molecules.
3. In turn, the messenger molecules create a cascade effect that amplifies the signal and creates a huge cascade of reactions, resulting in an enormous release of certain molecules.
The signal transduction pathway is extremely similar in many diverse organisms, which suggests that it evolved from a common ancestor. That's it for now! If you have more questions, be sure to let me know.
