Doesn't dissuade the rumors that their queerness is a ploy for attention, because really they don't care what everyone else thinks. An avid lover of black and horror. Covered in a litany of tattoos and piercings, most of the tattoos by their own design. Avoids mirrors unless absolutely necessary. Hides their real thoughts and emotions behind dry, snarky humor.
BIOGRAPHY
Late-term accidental twins seemed to be a theme in the Hale family. And Myles felt every ounce of that accident in his being. Mason was the golden son, the popular outgoing boy everyone adored. Myles was....the odd one out. They kept to themselves even at a young age, opting to spend time with their older sister and young aunts more often than not. And why not? When they teasingly offered to dress Myles up in makeup and nail polish he found it fun, like he was getting colored up.
The Hale twins were night and day, the difference even more drastic once Mason joined football and Myles joined the art club. People began to forget that the two were ever twins to begin with. But still, Myles loved their brother fiercely and would do absolutely anything for him. To include providing....party favors, for Mason's parties. Despite this, Myles himself was never a fan of parties, often opting to stay home and hear about the exploits from his brother the next day.
Myles still can't forgive himself for not being there that fateful night. If he had been, maybe, just maybe, his brother would still be here. Or he could have taken Mason's place. Myles knew his parents certainly thought it, even if they would never say it aloud.
Dropping out of art school, Myles decided to travel for the next 8 years, around the world and across the United States, never staying in one place for more than a few months. It was easier this way, as if running away from the guilt that ate away at them. For sharing the face of their shattered soul. When Myles wasn't on the road he was embracing art in every form available, finding it far more valuable than anything he ever learned in college.
A couple years ago they met Carolina and the two had what he thought was a great relationship. Until they found out the truth: that she was stealing from them, using them for their family's money. Before Myles could confront Carolina she ghosted him completely. Heartbroken for a second time, Myles decided it was time to come home. Since returning he has opened up a gallery and prides himself as the leading art expert in town.
