I’ve made this pendant featuring Ammolite found in Alberta, Canada. Ammolite is an opal-like, biogenic gemstone; others include amber and pearl. As the name suggests, it’s made of the fossilized shells of ammonites, which were composed primarily of aragonite, with a microstructure inherited from the shell.
