BIOGRAPHY
Leah is originally from Miami, both her parents emigrated there when they were in their twenties from the UK.
She is the middle child, she has an older brother (51) and a younger sister (44).
She is from a privileged family financially. But they were always forced to be the best in what they did. They had to be the best students, best athletes, best looking and Leah actually succeeded in most of these things. She was the one the others should look up to according to their parents.
She came out to her parents as a lesbian when she was twenty. She was their favorite before, but they made it clear that they didn’t like her sexuality. She was still welcome in their home, as long as she didn’t take any romantic partners with her.
Leah was studying to become a surgeon, she was planning to become a trauma surgeon when her father died of heart failure when she was twenty-two. She then decided to become a cardiothoracic surgeon instead.
Her brother did alright for himself, her little sister, however, couldn’t cope with the pressure and fell into an addiction to drugs and got into the criminal circuit, often going in and out of prison and rehab.
At one of her internships (at twenty-three) she met Maddie a psychologist who was helping recovering patients after surgery and they hit it of immediately.
They started a relationship that lasted twenty-two years and has a child together, Max who is now eighteen.
Ten years ago they moved to Stratford together for work, they both started working at the hospital and still do. Leah bought a small cottage on the edge of town so she can stay close to her ex, her son and her work.
She owns two bikes, recently bought a new one and enjoys going on rides in her spare time. She’s not associated with the gangs but does share their love for bikes and riding them.
