I started the Biomorphic series over 10 years ago. It is where I play, explore and experiment with colors most freely. Each painting is informed by life forms, maybe moss, cells, sea life, the practice also helps me work through a lot of my struggles with auto immune disease, the details, the visceral forms give me a sense of control over this illness that’s been with me since I was 35. I just came across these and they lift my spirits up, I hope they do that for you too.
