Personally I do find you intimidating, but I feel like it's much more a reflection of me than it is of you. That's because first and foremost I'm pretty intimidated by many for the talented people here on tumblr. Honestly you're someone who is smart and very creative and who has the drive to showcase those traits in many ways, either in your fic or in your approach to the more meta and sociological bits of fandom. And you do this all in less than ideal personal circumstances in real life.

Just by virtue of all of these things I find you intimidating, and it's not because you seem less than friendly but because you are admirable and pretty cool. Like in real life I think most people get a little frightened to interact with the people they admire because they might come off as less than cool and humiliate themselves in front of someone they look up to. In all I don't think it's something you should worry about.

I totally agree that South is The Lesbian (North is the only one that calls her that, he has a much more unflattering nickname). I love the idea that South and Maine admire each other's unabashed love of carnage and dismissal of "normal" social customs. So I totally think that South would sleep with Maine if she had the chance, not because of any real physical attraction but for the *experience*. She's a go big or go home kind of lady and if she's gonna sleep with a man she gonna go fucking big.

there's that theory that everyone has an except. I'm straight/gay except for that OOOONE person or whatever. I think South subscribes to that theory and her theory is her one person is Maine.

Whole my first vote is for tex/ct I'm disappointed that no one has vote for tex/south. It's like the perfect rival ship. It's almost a certainty that south would never win but she would never just lay down and take what tex gave out. Just that scene when she gives tex back the name plate... Yeah. There is a vote for Tex/South on my list. :) I am certainly taking that dynamic into account.

I'm legitimately not allowed to talk about sunset rubdown, I just love how different their terms of endearment and devotion are, but they still CONNECT. For me its hard to listen to a lot of music because the lyrics are too clean cut and it leaves me wanting and frustrated. I love "The men are called horsemen there", just "Your hand’s in my back, Your hand’s on my muscles, Your weight on my back, It keeps me from trouble" is beautiful. I got to see Wolf Parade live and it was so awesome.

I found that Sunset Rubdown song from one really good fanmix, so I don't know any other songs, sadly. I should look into the, def.

Sorry to keep bugging you, but I did a little happy dance when I saw that you used "I’ll Believe In Anything" as *the* song for your au. That's like my favorite song of all time, it got me into so many bands that it's really unbelievable. I agree that music is incredibly important to creative thought, and I couldn't even think about writing at my best without some thread of music threading my thoughts.
