For @bionicpaintbucket, who wanted Ravage in the cat meme
While I was in the process of colouring Alex’s commission picture, I showed @bionicpaintbucket this WIP and she really liked it. So I’ve decided to post it on here.
This was drawn by Alex Milne for @bionicpaintbucket, but she asked me to colour it in. I finally got around to doing it before her birthday came up.
Here’s the original sketch by Alex (@markerguru001): https://twitter.com/markerguru/status/772123674333712384

Appreciation Post: My sister
When I was much younger, I was very nice to everyone... except my sister. This isn’t to say that I bullied her or anything like that, but I didn’t give her the same amount of patience, kindness, or consideration that I gave everyone else. I guess I found her annoying- I thought she was too loud, got into too much trouble, and talked too much- and I wanted to be an only child. This post isn’t a way of apologizing to her, because I’ve already apologized to her so many times in person that I’ve managed to annoy her with the amount of times I’ve apologized for my past behaviour. Instead, this post is here to celebrate her as a human being, and the fact that I have been blessed to have her in my life instead of being an only child.
My sister, @bionicpaintbucket, is an intelligent, wise, and hard working person. What she lacks in being very emotionally available, she makes up in being very logically available (meaning that she’d rather find solutions to your problems rather than saying “there there, everything will be okay”, which can actually be quite helpful when you’re too emotional to fix your own problems). She’s generous even when she doesn’t need to be, she’s very funny, and she has a great future ahead of her, even if she doesn’t realize it right now.
She was there for me when I had a hard time moving on from the bullying I went through while in grade 8. She was a source of sanity when the rest of our family bothered the hell out of us. Hell, she’s still a source of sanity for me, when my mental issues won’t go away and everything else seems to be going wrong. She is my best friend, and a light spot in a life that would otherwise be so much darker without her.
Right now, she’s having a bit of a hard time. She’s in a job she hates and she’s unsure about her future. But I know she will do well eventually. The crappy job is only temporary, and I know she is smart and strong enough to go back to school and get the life she really wants. I believe in her. We’ve talked about living together once we have the money to move out of our parents’ house, and I would be honoured to.
@bionicpaintbucket, if you’re reading this, I’m sorry if I’ve embarrassed you. But I love you. Thank you for being around.
