I'd go with the funding sites. Make your case post the link here also and let tumblr help signal boost. I've seen people get results for unnecessary useless crap so a cause like yours will do well I'm sure

Thank you both for the advice! I'll go with GoFundMe I suppose--I think I've seen it used more often than Fundrazr, at least.
Graphics--I hadn't even thought of graphics--in what way do you think I might need them? Lol thank you for the offer! I've just never set up a fundraiser myself before and am unsure what I'd do with graphics other than a photo or two of my brother...? ^^;
