hey so this is lowkey gonna be a top surgery recovery blog now
Not really lmao, but I got out of surgery at about 3:00 PM yesterday!! I went in at about 9:30 AM and didn't get back to the hotel until about 4:00 PM.
So uh, here's a little 24 hour update??
I'm not in nearly as much pain as I thought I would be. It's more of a dull ache in my chest than anything, and painkillers help a lot too.
I occasionally get a weird stinging/tingling sensation where my nipple grafts would be?? It's very strange.
I had a REALLY hard time peeing the first night, but that's to be expected after surgery.
The fluid in my drains is starting to look a little clearer. It's weirdly... greasier than I expected it to be.
Hormone crash hasn't affected me yet. I've actually been in a great mood since I got back to the hotel, and I still feel pretty good.
Overall, I feel pretty incredible. I'm so so happy. I finally feel sorta complete.

y’all i know i haven’t been active in forever (im at camp) but-
yesterday i was going white water rafting and they had us all wearing lifejackets
and none of the life jackets fit me even tightened all the way
and our guide was going around and checking everyone’s jackets and when we got to me it was obvs too loose so he tried to tighten it
and when it couldn’t tighten anymore he said “just not enough of you to hold up!”
scream literally. i think this is the thinnest I’ve been in a while and it feels amazing
if y’all want to start a gc on insta together hmuuuu

my dad told me today that if i don’t start eating more my doctors going to be concerned lol 🤭
