Felt like creating an alien species today😌😌
Working hard?
River bringing his husband, Miguel, some coffee as he works to finish a customer's prosthetic.
Little do they know how important this job is, and how much will change.

An unusual cover to Captain Future #15 (Summer, 1943) by Earle Bergey, as our hero doesn't even appear!
I haven't read this issue yet, so I'm only assuming that's the good captain's paramour, Joan Randall, being menaced by bird guy.
BTW, "Brett Sterling" was the house pseudonym for Edmond Hamilton, the author of most of Captain Future's stores. The Sterling name was also used as a cover for authors Ray Bradbury and William Morrison.
I wanted to design alien birds with some kind of arm/hand structures, but I find the concept of just having wings and conventional arms to be both kind of boring and anatomically far fetched - so I was trying to come up with some alternate ways a prehensile limb may evolve. I kind of landed on the ideas of tongues and tentacles, so here's my fav concept I came up with :>
KIVA SOLEIL IS BACK!!
So, i decided to color her! as you can see I attempted a lineless kind of vibe???.
I really like how it turned out!
I've decided that she's going to be Rosie's babysitter!
AND FUCK ME SIDEWAYS I FORGOT TO POST ROSIE'S CONCEPT DOODLE
Here’s Jáven (hispanic vowels; pronounced Hah-ven) in his nightingale form and his human disguise. Friend suggested I put this here from ig. Got some inspo from some old old old kid drawings I had of him, and some barn owl paintings I had lying around. He’s serving stolas from helluva boss lmao
I feel really good about how this came out. This is just a test trail for his proportions and color palette, and I feel like it came out spectacular so I’m gonna stick with it.
