Jen made me log back into my tumblr, so hereās a giant turtle i painted today -
Iāve only seen Endgame once but Sam was kind of hesitant about taking the shield in the first place so maybe he isnāt even officially Cap yet in the mini-series. Just saying. The show is still āFalcon & Winter Soldier.ā Not Captain America.
Maybe neither of them actually pick up the shield in the mini-series and it happens later in a movie.
BuckyCap could still happen.Ā
Like early on Sam & Bucky have a discussion about why Steve gave the shield to one and not the other, and Bucky says something to the effect that he doesnāt deserve it and no one trusts him etc.
And then later on, a situation comes up where Sam is somehow incapacitated, and the shield is just sitting there, and itās a do-or-die situation like it was in Siberia in Civil War and Bucky is just like, oh crap--oh well, I know how to use this thing. He saves the day, and then Sam gets an idea, and Bucky is like--oh no, oh no no no no--it takes some persuading, but he caves.Ā
We could easily get a scenario where theyāre taking turns with the shield on different missions, confusing the heck out of the bad guys. That would be very entertaining.Ā āYeah, thatās Sam Wilson the flying man but in red white and blue but WHO ARE YOOOOU?????ā Bucky gets a Cap uniform that hides his metal arm, heās got his hair tucked under a helmet, they donāt know itās the ex-Winter Soldier. They think itās Steve back from the dead or whatever.Ā
Thereās TWO of them, what the hell? One of them can fly, bad enough for us--the bad guys are constantly on their toes, wondering which one theyāll have to worry about today--
Sam and Mystery!Cap play into an elaborate scheme to defeat the villain (hopefully Zemo). Maybe it backfires like in the comics. But Bucky does prove himself worthy--as worthy as hobo!Thor in Endgame still proved himself able to wield Mjolnir, I might add.Ā
And on that note, if Thor can still pick up Mjolnir after letting himself go forĀ five years, Bucky can be Captain America.Ā

āBLACK LIVES MATTERā
By Birdcap and Derrick Dent
As part of the Memphis Heritage Trail, celebrating the contributions of African Americans who have played such a central role in shaping the cities businesses, culture, and music, the Memphis Urban Art Commission asked Birdcap, aka Michael Roy, and Derrick Dent, to paint this ambitious work. To minimize the cost of installation, all but the family at the bottom were pre-painted on panels of Polytabāa lightweight industrial canvasāthen applied to the wall with the help of additional assistants. Asked by ILoveMemphis blog if that would limit the life of the mural Birdcap responded that the materials including glue and sealant are all industrial strength and he expects the work to outlast many of his other murals around town. ILoveMemphis also provides detailed information on the nine separate components of this design at S. Main St. and MLK Jr. Drive.
