10 ways is my crack-treated-(semi)-seriously cw supergirl post-canon fic about one of kara's coworkers snapping and trying to kill her after she gets promoted to editor in chief after 6 years of being very bad at her job. it's 12k words already and nowhere near done. my monstrous creation...

Kara huffed and turned back to you. “Anyway,” she said, “what was extra weird was, the anthrax was on a copy of the AP Stylebook. I didn’t order one of those.” “Well, now you have a free copy,” you said. “Maybe you can use it.” Kara squinted at you. “It’s infected with anthrax,” she said. “Right,” you said. “Nevermind.” “But it’s weird, right?” said Kara. “Why the AP Stylebook?” You shrugged. “Maybe…whoever did it was trying to send you a message?” Kara’s brow crinkled. “Like what?” You gave up. Some people were beyond help. “Couldn’t tell ya,” you said. Kara nodded, as if satisfied by your apparent bafflement. “Like I said,” she said, “it’s really weird.” “Yeah,” you said. “Weird.”
