OK, Im so curious. I love the omega verse but whatever I read it NEVER says how the children are born. Is there a 'official' way they are born?
I’m assuming you are asking about omegas with male genitalia? I’ll explain for both though, love. There is no “official” way that babies are born honestly.
So for Omegas with vaginas would give birth natural through their vaginas or could have a c-section. It of course depends on preference and what is safer for the mother (fyi, I call all omegas who have children mothers). So there is that. Labor process is the same, same possible complications, and etc..
For the Omegas with penises, I think it varies with what people like to write about. I know that people despise having it so male omegas could give birth natural, or they hate that they can’t have kids or can just get a c-section. It’s all a matter of what you prefer because there are always a good number of people who will like what you do.
There are stories where male Omegas can only get c-sections. Other anatomy explanation of there being a birth canal that can only be accessed when the taint is cut away. I even have read stories where they give birth through their penis. Maybe there Omegas who have both genitalia, where one is bigger than the other, or the correct way of describing that insistance. It’s just want you would like or feel like you can explain well. Or not explain it all and leave it up to the reader.
I know that I personally like to follow this diagram found here. The male Omegas have either a muscle flap or something of the sort that blocks off the uterus until heat. The hormones of heat make it so that that muscle retracts in order for a penis to simulate the cervix, and so on and so forth. This makes it so they aren’t getting pregnant each time they have sex because their colon and uterus are exposed at the same time. The retraction one of the reasons why the Omega has pain in their stomach and why they are desperate for a penis/knot.
When the birth comes along for an Omega, that muscle begins to retract/relax again, at first slowly because this is where they are dilating. This causes slight cramps and this is the start of labor for them. Soon after that they begin to have the regular contractions as they slowly dilate big enough for the pup(s) to come out.
I hope that that answers your question, love. If anyone has their own opinion or thoughts on this, feel free to share. I want to hear from everyone. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask!
