The Birthening
My lovely best frannnnnd spawned in the wee hours of this morning, after an epic 21 hour labour. She and her fiance` have produced a healthy, strong girl, to whom they have gifted the names Ava Harlow.
I am in awe. Of her, of him, and of my lovely, ma petite, my sister and best friend and confidant. She has done the most incredible things.
When I met her she came to me a little broken, a little run down, and with the barest brush of care and love has made such an amazing turn about, to kick life squarely in the ass.
Shit, I will just always be there for you. Every new chapter we open upon, whether it is together or discovered alone, I will support you and care for you and lean on you a little too.
