Somali food from the now shuttered Som Taste, which stood in the former Bridgeman’s at 47th and Hiawatha. Beef sambusa with bisbaas sauce, Somali rice, salad, stewed goat, and veggies.
I think our household might start making a point of eating at a small, family-owned restaurant once a week. Seeing places like Som Taste close makes me so sad, and supporting them is not hard and usually not even expensive.
