I think Scott may develop feelings for the new beta. Scott almost had feelings for Isaac.

I can agree that we can interpret some of the Isaac/Scott scenes as borderline romantic, but to me it seemed to be from Isaac’s end. My first interpretion of their relationship was Scott being Scott, meaning he wanted to help everyone, Isaac included, and Isaac who’s not used to kindness being starstruck by that.

I’ve actually been rewatching a few of the scenes in question the last couple of days with fresh eyes and the whispers of bi!scott in mind, but I’m still not convinced. And I have nothing to lose here - it’s not like saying Scott totally likes guys will derail any of my favorite ships.

I’ve long since realized that TW has multiple interpretations, and I’m not going to pretend to know the “truth” (if there even is one). I’ve been doing a very thorough rewatch of season 1 and 2 lately, and just once did I feel that a scene between a guy and Scott felt intimate and held undertones that I totally understand how people can list in the pro bi scott column, and that is the scene at the rave when Scott hands Isaac the syringe, and tells him to be careful. Isaac thinks that Scott means he needs to be careful so he gets Jackson in the vein, but Scott means Isaac needs to be careful so he’s not hurt. Isaac does look at him with wonder and heart eyes after. But I always thought of it as Isaac floored by anyone really caring about him and his welfare. Isaac obviously enjoyed the steamy threeway dancing with Erica and Jackson so I have no problem seeing him with fluid sexuality, and possibly also having a small crush on him. Him moving on to Allison rather quickly though tells me he didn’t see much hope for anything happening... 

I’m going to actively look for this when I get to the next seasons, and I’m doing my best to keep an open mind. But as of right now, I’m not really convinced. I keep reading the arguments for it, and I see how they landed on the interpretations, and yet - no. I will however fall graciously on my own sword if I’m proven wrong :) 

Personally I have much more belief in Lydia getting a girlfriend, or even Malia and Kira. I can see how this rumor has gotten huge parts of the fandom all excited, and I hope it won’t lead to uproar and more dissatisfaction if it turns out to be nothing, or not what we expected (like a character crushing on scott, him oblivious or turning him down for example).

Also I've been pretty busy this week and so I still haven’t caught a reliable source for this. Hit me up with a link if I've missed it.

Ok, so what's all this about Scott maybe getting a male love interest? Not that I wouldn't be thrilled if he did, but this news just sort of sprung up out of nowhere and took me by surprise. Is there like a valid website this has been announced on? Am I just missing something? But for real, if this news is true, his love interest better be Stiles, otherwise I'm gonna be angry that they never followed through with the whole bisexual!Stiles thing...

As I understand it some fans reported that Tyler Posey had hinted at that during a meet and greet at a recent con. I do not have any source for that (the info came from an anon), so how reliable this is remains a question. But it did stir up some interesting debate if nothing else. I’ve not been on as much the last few days, so if anyone has a source, please let me know. 

Like I’ve said before, I wouldn’t mind bisexual Scott.. Aside from some scenes with Isaac that had hints of some attraction, especially on Isaac’s part, I haven’t really picked up on Scott liking guys at all. calicokat-teenwolf has been collecting some great stuff on that relationship and how there was a foundation there. I didn’t pick up on that on my first watch I have to admit, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t there. I mostly read their scenes as Scott being Scott and caring about Isaac and making sure he was okay, and Isaac who’s not used to kindness, was blown away by that. But this is the great thing about TW - One interpretation doesn’t rule out the other - they can actually work together and create additional layers to the story. 

So if they make it fit the story, I will welcome bi/pan/demi sexual Scott with open arms.  And of course I want more bisexual Stiles and an actual confirmation that everyone will pick up on. Personally I hope they don’t go the sciles route. They’ve had four season of building them up as brothers, showing us how close their families are. I will admit there are hints of Stiles possibly having a small crush on Scott, but Scott has never shown an iota of romantic interest in Stiles in my opinion. So we have to agree to disagree on that one and wait and see. 

If Scott will get a male LI i think it will be one of the new characters, possibly Theo who both Scott and Stiles knew from they were kids. If Stiles has/had a crush on Scott and Scott ends up choosing another guy over Stiles, that could be a source of conflict and hurt. That said, I sincerely hope the conflict between them isn’t as tropy as a love triangle, and i know jeff hates those with a firey passion so i’m not too worried. If we turn it around it could be the nudge Stiles needs to admit stuff and therefore a good thing.

I looked up Producers and there's a bunch of different ones that Posey could be. So my question is: Do you think he'll have the pull to make Scott bi/Sciles canon. Personally I don't think so. Mostly because Jeff seems like the type of writer to have a plan and stick with it unless he absolutely has to change it. ie; an actor leaving for good. But I was wondering what you thoughts are?

I haven’t got the faintest idea what the scope of Posey’s role as producer is. I think it’s really cool that he’s taking such an invested interest in the show and wants to contribute also behind the scenes.

As a producer I would think he’d have a voice in things, but I don’t think he’s in a position where he can veto or push through an idea if Jeff and the writing team don’t agree. 

I must admit I haven’t paid all that much attention to everything that Posey has said in interviews and at cons prior, but I hear that he’s been pretty pro Scott being bisexual, which I think is awesome. I also agree that some of the Isaac/Scott interactions can be read as sexual, so it’s not something that will come out of left field, even if I personally didn’t read them as Scott being anything other than Scott wanting to help and genuinely caring about Isaac, and Isaac looking at Scott with hearts in his eyes, because Isaac isn’t exactly used to good things and people caring about him. And isn’t just amazing how we can all see such different things from the same scenes, and they can all be “true”? 

Jeff has said previously (and that was in relation to a question about Stiles possibly being bi, but i would think it would apply for all characters really) that if it was right for the story, then he’d do it. 

Time will tell what season 5 brings us. Like you said, i do think Jeff has a plan for where he’s taking the story, but relationships aren’t the driving force of the narrative, often they serve a purpose to tell the story - and it might not matter all that much what gender the person Scott will be in a relationship with is - only what it brings him and where it takes his story :) 

As for sciles or not, that is just a matter of personal preference on my part - if Jeff takes it that route, I’ll still be stoked because of the representation for bisexual lead characters, but I stand by my opinion that I don’t - at this point - see any canon evidence of Scott showing romantic interest in Stiles, and i mainly ship their bromance.
