Q slur // F slur mention // I was messaging aspec-sexuality about why cishet aces cannot reclaim q*eer and why queer is not a slur aimed at ace folk but rather at SGA/trans/nb folk. And they used the f slur (uncensored) to make a point about how it's been used against them, even tho they aren't a gay man. I told them it was wrong and they continued to say it's okay for them to say the slur, they just can't reclaim it. I'm really grossed out rn. I have screenshots if you need them.

yurio’s age in canon or “how old he looks” has nothing to do with anything. i was trying to help you understand how some people are able to look at an illustration of one character and easily see another without freaking out. i see that it didn’t help.

like, look. i’m sorry that you cant unhook the aesthetic of a screencap from the details of a character but all this sounds like a personal problem that has literally nothing to do with me or the post i made.

ignores the existence of yurio and otabek as characters

the only way that yuri on ice is relevant is because that’s where the screencap came from 

the idea is “here’s an au in which captive prince isn’t a sex slave au wouldn’t that be cool?”

unless you’re talking about laurent??? in which case idk what the age of adulthood is in your country but laurent is, in canon, 20 years old.

i genuinely didnt know what the problem was until i saw your blog. the parallel i made is intended to be purely visual: the post means “ice skating captive prince au” not “slave yuri on ice au” 

more generally, i wasn’t aware that there’s a link between AUs and sexual gratification because like there doesn’t need to be, we have the technology. it’s super easy to exclude explicit fic in ao3 searches and it costs $0.00 to stop assuming that sex is an inevitability in any given pairing
