Oh dear. Fingers crossed it's taken care of quickly and they don't stall. [You're okay though?]
Oh, we’re perfectly fine. Just rather angry that the raw sewage that was running out of the upstairs neighbor’s toilet Friday night, which soaked in through her floor, down into our walls, across the ceiling, and was dripping out across our bathroom floor and out of the ceiling into our kitchen, has not been dealt with yet.
It’s in our walls. We can’t turn the bathroom light on, as the ventilation fan is wired into the light switch, and the stench of the raw sewage that is in the fan gets pushed into the room.
We called emergency maintenance Friday night, as well as put in a standard maintenance ticket, and they have yet to send somebody over.
The man-thing went to the office yesterday. We both went this morning to ensure they know we’re aware that it’s a violation. It took them a few minutes to acknowledge that they should send somebody from maintenance to look, and a few minutes more to get them to tell us it would be at some point today.
If they have not shown up by 5 this evening, we will be making calls to the housing authorities (city, county, and state) in the morning.
