I really like how sdv gets lumped with other cosy games bc everyone who's ever played it will gladly tell you it's a nightmare race against the clock 90% of the time. Fish me an octopus.

Nice reminder for the swsh fandom!
I'm gonna chase u with an axe if you self insert with allister bc he's like nine and I'm pretty sure you're not.
This pic is killing me knowing what we know about Visi now. She should try her hardest to fit in, I'm sure, since she was planted here - but she definitely never expected these people to like her.
Everyone else is having fun, is proud of her, but she's just. Shocked. I could be making friends? People could genuinely like me? I could belong here?
She looks like this.
HOLY SHIT HIIII HIIIIIIIII
ITS BEEN SO LONG MY BABY
THIS LITTLE SHIT?
Spiritfarer is not the most well made game out there - in fact, it gets tedious after a while, and a lot of the backstory/lore is hidden in the art book and such - but I appreciate how it went "Not everyone you meet will be a nice person, even if they try their hardest to get better. Some people will be mean, obnoxious, jealous, unhelpful and ungrateful. But they still deserve help - specifically, they deserve help when their final days come. When death is at their door, they, too, deserve to leave peacefully," at the end.
I like Royd
I don't have the energy to write an eloquent post ab this but there's a reaaallly big post out there talking about how some of your feelings are actually inherently selfish (ie feeling ignored and lonely when your partner is busy with a life changing event, such as grieving) and I need everyone to know that's not true. That's not true at all. Someone who thinks like that has never spoken to a therapist in their lives, so don't listen to them. I am holding your hand so gently and so firmly rn – this is exactly why this place is a nightmare for anyone with any form of OCD.
Your feelings don't make you selfish or evil. You can't control them. But you can control your actions. And that's what matters. If you try your hardest to bury everything that feels selfish or attention seeking-y, you will end up exploding from the pressure of it all. There's no use in trying to suppress that part of yourself and shun it as lesser.
Work with your feelings, not against them. Uuughhh I'm so mad.
