GAMEPLAY OPINION: Spy SUCKSSSSSS I mean it this time. I think conceptually Spy is extremely cool, but after 15 years people are So aware of Spy being part of the game that he just SUCKS to play. You can't blow your nose on 2fort without getting spychecked about a thousand times. It's not fun and I hate it
GENERAL CHARACTER/FANDOM OPINION: I've said this before but Spy tf2 is neither an exceptionally bad parent nor a secretly actually good parent. I'm a Spydad centrist. Spy is neither some kind of evil, abusive parent for going out to buy cigarettes and never coming back, but she didn't go out to buy cigarettes and never come back because that's Her Way Of Showing Love For Her Son. Sometimes people with good intentions can make bad choices, especially in the realm of parenting. Spy tf2 does not need to be an abusive parent for you to justify your dislike of him nor does she need to be Secretly The Best Most Awesome Dad Ever to justify your love for her. Tf2 isn't really well-equipped to handle this kind of morally gray character but I think as long as you remember Spy is a funny joke character you should be okay
