It’s so good to be in a relationship where you know your partner is not a cheating/flirting dick. I actually am so damn confident in just how much Evan loves me. He makes me feel like his prize possession and I absolutely love it. I know he doesn’t and would never even think about any other girl for even two seconds too long just because I’m so certain about how much he loves me. He’s focused and kind and so honest. Which is what I’ve needed for so long now.
Everyone deserves to be in a relationship where they are certain they are loved, where they are certain they can fully rely on the trust they instill in their partner to be faithful. It’s taken a little while for this to truly feel safe enough to feel real, but I am so confident and so thankful and grateful for how perfect and safe it all is. Truly the yin to my yang

but Monk 2002 is very respectful of Monk's condition. They actually take the time to explain a lot of things, esp the connection between control and compulsion, losing/loneliness and obsession. It's beautiful. For something from the early 00s, very well done.
And I truly feel seen in Monk's grief, his anxiety, his panic, and a lot of his compulsions.
