I do find it both funny and ridiculous that the discussion about E7 has cristallised around Will's coming out and absolutely nothing else. Like damn, I know most of that episode was boring, but really? You're gonna use 5 to 10 minutes to form your opinion on a hour long episode (and then review bomb it)?

I also find it funny that the overall conclusion seems to be that this specific scene ruined the episode when that was one of the rare scenes that actually had me invested. Sorry not sorry, but I did find it more compelling than the "explaining the lore again, making plans and running around in circles" sequence or the "Holly is yanked back by Vecna right after she escaped thanks to a 5-minute long pep talk by Max" plot point (way to make her presence in previous episodes feel like a screentime blackhole).

(even speaking from a strictly "plot" pov, it only makes sense to make readers care about a character that's going to die, if only to make it more impactful...)

there's so much potential there with the siblings, and their parents (not to mention, I know CC adores Will, but Cecily is absolutely hilarious too? so are Gideon and Gabriel? Will isn't the only "funny" character from their generation...) Also, Sophie is such a great example of a strong woman that's not being "badass" in the most stereotypical way.

listen i know 127 is having a tour today and tomorrow and the day after that and next month they’re releasing an album and touring the us and the month after that they’re still touring the us but i want to know when dream is going to have a comeback

The more I learn about the ideas they had for the finale vs what we actually got, the more convinved I am that they blew all their budget on something stupid (cough cough Purple Rain for a ship that doesn't even fit the song or giant CGI spider monster) and they had nothing left for the actually important stuff.
