The kick to his side certainly helped his cause. He jolted up, green eyes slowly letting the world come into focus. And when they did focus he groaned. There was his sister, a rather cross look on her face. "I got you a phone so you could ignore it. Great job." Came the snap. "You got a homeless guy a phone. You see outlets around here?" Aki grumbled in response. Aya seemed to think it over for a moment, and for a second looked ready to agree with him before she shook her head.
"Get up. We're going." She chose to stick to business. Smart not to fight a losing battle. Aki raised his eyebrows and slowly got himself up. He caught the bag she chucked at him and raised an eyebrow at her. "We're heading back to the place Tai and I share. You're showering, and possibly shaving, eugh." She shook her head, her comment directed at his body hair to which he frowned. "Look, I'm not going to shave my damn legs because you said-" She cut him off with a hand in the air. "You want to eat, you might take what I say into consideration." Well that was cold. And a low blow.
He sighed. "Consideration doesn't mean will." He finally resigned. Aya shook her head. "One day you will." With crossed arms she lead her brother down the street. Luckily he had stayed right near where she and Tai were living. Not that they had room to house him. Unfortunate, but how it went. When they got there she all but shoved him into the bathroom and slammed the door behind him. "Don't come out until you're spotless." Came the barking command before he heard her storm off. A sigh escaped him. Bossy as usual. But he was used to it. In a way, anyways.
It was a twenty minute ordeal on the whole. He was inclined to stay under the warm water for a little longer than necessary. That and Aya'd pin him hard for a five or ten minute shower. Maybe she might even pin him on fifteen. Hell if he knew. Either way, when he stepped out he felt a hell of a lot better. A warm shower, and when he opened the bag a bigger smile dawned on his face. A brand new change of clothes. This really marked the start of a new adventure. He glanced toward the outlet in the bathroom he'd plugged the phone she had got him into. He checked it and noted full battery. For once. He mused, walking back over to the new clothes and putting them on. Amusement appeared as he noted another change below them. So she'd thought ahead. Despite her attitude, she cared a lot.
It took over half an hour before he was ready and exited the bathroom, to find Aya impatiently tapping her foot outside of it. "Come on, let's get you fed and go. Tai's been ready for hours." Which was not an exaggeration. She'd taken her time to get ready and then had hunted her twin down. Aki fought the urge to laugh at her and chose to nod to her instead, which seemed to sate her for the time being. He walked in to the scent of bacon and eggs, and sat before a plate of said food. It had been a while since he last ate like this, and he was thankful for it, make no mistake. There was slight apprehension about going out and starting a whole adventure. He was an adult after all. And really, how would this all end for the both of them?
He had no clue, but all he knew was the biggest chapter of their lives was starting, and it scared him ever so slightly.
The mall was simple enough to get to. The ten minutes she had stated would have been more than enough if she hadn't had to find and get a couple of Pokemon to come with her. Two were her companion Pokemon, and one happened to be her intended starter for her journey; her Gible. She was not going to be conventional about things at all. Not that she ever was. Aya Feizune was a woman of doing things her way. And her way was usually one hell of a lot more difficult than anyone else's.
So what if she was more difficult in what she chose for herself personally? She could do things the easy way, right? She could easily help someone, especially since she was difficult with her personal methods. That must mean the easy normal and conventional should come super easy to her. This Friday was the slated start date for her, Tai and Aki. Aki whom she still had to inform about this, oops. Oh well. Not that any of that was too much of a concern right now.
She was now looking around, hoping the other she had talked to noticed the mass of purple hair wandering around. Her Sableye, Chocolate, stayed on he shoulder. She was glad Chocolate stayed relatively small. It was still odd, Chocolate was still a little large to be there, but Aya was used to it and Chocolate held balance. Her Sylveon, Heresy, weaved around between her legs, easily avoiding being hit by Aya's legs. That little ribbon fox knew a lot more than anyone gave him credit for. All Aya was really waiting for at the moment was some sort of call out, so that she could finally meet the person she'd been contacting on the feed.
