In a nutshell, Bitcoin 2.0 rests on being able to apply the public, distributed blockchain technology that lies underneath Bitcoin and apply this to create so-called "smart contracts" ... contracts that are independently, transparently verifiable and, potentially, self-executing. Think automatic property settlements, self-regulating corporations law, and more.
