I had nothing to give today, so I just started squirling and twirling with a thick pen, then (as I am wont to do) I started the whole texturing zentangle detailing thing that I like. It hit me broadside that I really ought to have rules for the mark making I do, and that I should figure that out well before my wall piece gets to the stage where I wanna doodle on it. From a pretty crap bit of mark making to the thought and idea which will help improve my work. Plorking. It works!
