I'm using Carla which is an FOSS audio plugin host set up like this
The EQ is set up like this
E.G a high pass filter to remove the low tones and lowered mid-low tones.
This goes into the Ribcrusher a really cool open source bitcrusher VST3 plugin. Ribcrusher is setup like below
10 bits bit depth and 4400Hz sample rate
The gain is just there to get the audio the right volume. Worth noting is that using Carla, my voice is entirely filtered live and same with the music I was playing, none of it is done in post.
