Headcanon A, realistic: NEEDS GLASSES. I SUBSCRIBE TO THE SYLVAIN IS ESSENTIALLY BLIND THEORY. 

Headcanon B, while it may not be realistic it is hilarious: didn’t realise he was bisexual until flayn has that I KNOW U SEDUCE MEN AND WOMEN, STAY BACK SLUT support scene

Headcanon C, heart-crushing and awful, but fun to inflict on friends: he’s got some numbness in one arm from breaking it so badly when Miklan pushed him into that well. He was in there for so long that by the time they were able to heal him, he’d sustained some minor nerve damage

Headcanon D, unrealistic, but I will disregard canon about it because I reject canon reality and substitute my own: sylvain genuinely has enough gripes with the crest system (and is one of the big examples of suffering due TO that system) that a CF!sylvain joins SPECIFCALLY due those ideas

oouugh !! another sylvain fan. i really like the subtle things that like prove that sylvains like an intelligent guy underneath all his stuff like one of his lost items later on, supports he has w characters like annette and bernadetta that show off his intuition and stuff,,, and outside of the blue lions route his required skill stat is reason if you want to recruit him (m!byleth ofc) ... like i love how all the clues for this are so subtly intergrated but they add to his character so well

yes!!! Or even him reasoning out with Dedue that it was nigh impossible for Duscar to have killed the king alone at WORST considering there had been peace before this conflict and that nation was far outmatched by the Kingdom’s miltiary power. His support with Mercedes is also one of my faves so far because two were literally just like Percieving one another as they truly are which was very funny.
