Fear. Desperation. Pain.
Cloud Strife had been walking home by himself, leaving his giant mess of an eighteenth birthday party. It was a warm and dark night; he could see the light of the full moon shine down, giving everything an eerie yet luminous glow. He had been about to cross the empty street when he heard a chilling howl. Only a second later, he heard a second answering howl. It sounded entirely way too close, making him speed up his pace and pull his thin jacket closer to himself to ward off the goosebumps.
The apartment which he called home was only a few more minutes away, which spurred him to go even faster, wanting to just lock the door behind himself and take a relaxing shower or something. A third howl sounding like it was right besides him made him turn around, nearly tripping in his haste. Deep jade eyes met his own for a split second before all he felt was pain. Though it hurt, Cloud didn't dare attempt to pull away, knowing that it would just injure him more and potentially mangle his arm in the long run.
Everything was a blur for the blond after that, the pain intensifying to such a factor that Cloud passed out. When he finally came to, all he saw was a bare chest. There were long slim arms holding him closer and he could feel the stare of the other, making him shiver. What had happened last night? Where was he? He looked up, blue eyes meeting those familiar green eyes from last night. His head spun; all he wanted was to get away from this place. He wanted to go home, far, far, far away from here.
"You're awake.." He spoke languidly as he brushed a few stray stands of silver away from his face, "I have been waiting." A hand cradled his cheek, "Keeping an eye on you.. You're so pretty, just like a doll. You will be a perfect mate." Cloud had no idea what the other was talking about, but realized that he had been stalked by some stranger without his knowledge. "I am Sephiroth and you are Cloud."
He even knew his name; the blond only shook harder and tried to move away despite the arms tightening around his body. "Let me go.. I want to go home.." Cloud murmured, "Please.."
"Cloud.. I do not think you are fully understanding what transpired last night," Sephiroth chuckled out, "I turned you last night. This is your home now."
