Ngl, this drawing was fun!!

Hands are still a pain in the ass, I tried. lol

I wasn’t lying when I said that this’ll be an intimate scene between them. Idk when, but it’ll happen. Riley suspected White Rabbit to be human, but more than that, she desperately wants to be physically intimate with him, to be closer, be having skin to skin contact. But in order to do that, she needed Rabbit to remove his clothes to see his real body. This was a big step for White Rabbit, to show his true face. He’s worried that it’s frightening her, she probably thinks he’s Frankenstein’s monster.

Not the case.

While her expression is unreadable, it’ll probably look something like this:

“Did DARKOM do this? Does it still hurt?” 🥺

She’ll ask for his permission to touch and kiss his scars. They’re not horrifying, it almost has a beauty to them.

For a week straight, I’ve been working on a origin story of Riley Pierce. Before she summoned, made a deal with the Devil Prince of Beezelbub, joined the cult, became a pickpocket, and a runaway. It’s been hard. Not in difficult, but hard to write the dark times that Riley went through.

If you’re not familiar with Riley’s story, you should know she’s become her little brother’s parent/caregiver because of her absent parents and the loss of her grandparents. She’s had to survive on her own and all with trying to care for her sick brother. It all makes sense how she became who she is now. 🥺

It’s soo weird to see her with longer, blonde hair instead of the usual pixie cut she has now.

Her outfit is clean, doesn’t have blood or dirt caked on…yet. This, is obviously before Arlo’s chronic sickness. Back when she still had family who loved and cared for her and Arlo. The senior dog by Riley is Moose the Bernese mountain dog. Owned by Arthur and Elaine, Riley’s loving grandparents. Moose will be accompanying Riley and Arlo during their harsh adventure.

This is a bittersweet drawing, I’ll admit that. I have yet to draw their grandparents and I promise to do it. They’re an important part of Riley’s life and in NO way am I neglecting them.
