Bittybones Rescue

This bitty was handed over to me by someone who had recently bought a new house. It looks like the previous owners of the house had left him behind when they moved. He came to us pretty badly shaken. His clothes were in no state to keep, so I swaddled him up in one of his onesies, which is where the name I’m using for him came from! He seems to like it a lot, and has so far refused to wear anything else. It’s clear that Bunbun was pretty badly neglected by his previous owners. He’s much more cautious than is normal for his breed, and dislikes being alone. As he becomes more comfortable though, his true personality starts to shine through. Bunbun loves a good game of tag, as well as board games like scrabble or candy land. Though he seems to very much enjoy getting to stretch his legs, he’s also quite the cuddle bug, and would love to join you for some Saturday morning cartoons.

I think you would match up with a lil bro!

These types of bittys normally take time to warm up completely to a new owner so you both will have time to adjust and gain trust with each other. Lil bros are known for having insomnia and night owls and would no mind staying up with you to play game or watching the night sky. They would enjoy napping on your shoulder as you knit (bonus points if it's for them).   

The fact you also have slight PTSD Anxiety and Depression would mean you have a high chance of getting recommended to a specific lil bro that's professionally trained as a emotional “helper” but thats if you take the recommendation or ask.                                                                                                            

Don’t be surprised if you wake up from a nap with your hair tied with ribbons or with the lil bro tangled in it . They probably got tired messing with your hair and decided your long locks were a perfect place to sleep.                                                                                 

Anothering is often said about lil bros is how protective they can be to those they consider family, so if the person who had hurt you in the past confronts you and you make it even slightly obvious you don't want them there,they will be confronted by a very upset bitty. If it happens when there not there they will know sooner or later weather you keep it from them or not so if they go missing and suddenly appear smug or a bit more tired than normal it means you won't be bothered again.                                             

Cats normally don't bother lil bros unless they have a bad encounter with them so your safe you might even get a cute photo or two of them cuddling.

I read on Vex's blog you wanted to start a Bitty rescue blog. If you are interested I have a little guy who would like to help if you are interested since some bittys react better to other bittys. He is a Error bitty, chaotic good suprisingly and a great helper. His name is Code If you don't want his help its all good and we both hope you succeed!

I'm still working on getting the blog underway for the Still Here Recovery Center and Sanctuary, something I'm hoping to get mostly sorted out by the end of the week if all goes well. I have a little crew of my own that's helping me out (almost all of them are rescues themselves), but I know they'd massively appreciate the extra help. Especially Mama, since she doesn't really have hands being a Beast-type bitty. So long as little Code is okay with taking direction, I'd be more than happy to have him on the team, and if he doesn't, well, we're a sanctuary for a reason. :)
