Attention:

A few months ago I met a person on this glorious website. Little did I know that she would quickly become one of my favorite people on the planet. We met because she was looking for somone to accompany her on a trip to New York to see Darren Criss star in Hedwig and the Angry Inch on Broadway. When I responded to her post about needing someone to go with her, I really didn’t think much of it because it just seemed like a complete long shot. Low and behold, I got to go on the trip of my life to see a show that I loved beyond any words I could come up with, starring a man who I have been fangirling over since the first time I saw him sitting on a trunk in the middle of a stage under a spotlight. I made a new friend who I will cherish forever, and I will forever be thankful for this experience. 

Basically, I love you Jen. =P

Tell me your favorite...

One more time, because I can’t sleep worth a damn and was hoping this would help. It didn’t really, but oh well. The more you know, right?

Favortites. How many more of these do we have in common?

Place- Right here. I have lived in this house since I was like 4 months old, and I hope to stay here forever. It’s my comfort zone.

Person- my Grama is my everything. She’s all I have left of what I always saw as my main FAMILY. The people who always lived with me. Dad’s gone, Grampa’s gone, and now it’s just us. I have a lot of family, but my Grama and I have gotten eachother through so many things.

Color- Purple. Everything Purple.

Food- Anything cheesy. Add garlic? Mouthgasm.

Smell- Stetson, Old Spice, or Brute. Those are the aftershaves my dad and Grampa used. Other than that, probably book smell. Whether it’s a new book or an old book it has a smell when you open it, and that is a comforting one for me.

Book- Of all time? Probably Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

Movie- Now and Then or Stand By Me.

Music artist- Lately I have been going back and forth between Glee music or Ed Sheeran. I’m going to his concert in Chicago in September, and I am going to see Darren Criss on Broadway next month. I need to make a Darren Playlist on my phone so I have something to listen to on the bus/car ride. =)

Genre of music- Any and every. I swear I would be able to find something I like in every genre. I was raised to give every form of music a chance.

Genre of literature- Fiction. I just like the escapism. I love being able to be in another world entirely because then it’s as though nothing in the world can touch you.

Magazine- I don’t read many magazines, but if I do it’s usually Cosmo. Or some random magazine with an interview from someone I want to read.

Texture- My blanket is amazing. I can’t sleep without it. I’ve had this blanket since I was 3 and my Grandparents threw away my baby blanket. My daddy took me to like 7 different stores to find a blanket that was made out of the same material. And then he bought me the queen sized one so no one could ever tell me I was too big for it again.

Time of day- Middle of the night. I worked 3rd shift for like 4 years, so my sleeping patterns are super effed up to this day. I’m okay with it though.

Day of the week- Monday- Wednesday. It’s usually the easiest for my anxiety. Places are less busy, and I have to deal with way less crap.

Tumblr- I have so many favorite blogs on here. I don’t know how I could ever just pick one.

Thing to do when bored- Read. I read so many books it’s unreal.

Celebrity- The one who I am most excited about right now is Darren Criss. I can’t wait to see him next week.

Class in school- English. Creative Writing. Supernatural. Mysteries. Graphic Arts.

Website other than Tumblr- Uhhhhh. Fanfiction.net, AO3.

Drink- Involving alcohol? Caribou Lou. Or Jäger Bombs.

Precious stone- My birthstone is a Garnet. Not sure how precious it is, but I’ve always thought they were pretty. I love black diamonds as well. I think my all time favorites are sapphires though. Just beautiful.

Animal- Cats. If we’re talking wild animal, probably some sort of big cats. I think panthers and leopards are beautiful.

Flower- I like flowers that are not the norm. Dylan gave me an orchid once for no reason at all. Just because he saw it and thought I would like it. It was purple, and I loved it.

Time in history- I wish I had been older in the 90’s.

Font- There’s always been something about Comic Sans that spoke to me.

Video game- Anything Kingdom Hearts related. The first Kingdom Hearts game was the last game I ever got to play with my Daddy.

TV show- I love so many tv shows. The one I am most excited about right now is Sherlock. bitz-criss got me into it and now I’m hooked.

Play- I get to go see Hedwig and the Angry Inch next week. That will probably end up being my favorite, though that’s a musical now that I think about it. Play… Romeo and Juliet. I was quite the Shakespeare buff in Highschool.

Sound- Babies and small children laughing. It’s a bonus when it’s because of me. I love it.

Fruit- Strawberries or Pears? Grapes are good too.

Vegetable- Potato. What would my life me like without potatoes? *shudders*

Store/shop- Umm. Can I say Amazon or EBay? I enjoy shopping online because I don’t have to deal with people. Nothing against people, I just get anxiety issues when I have to shop alone.

Article of clothing you own- Any and every Grampa shirt I managed to save from getting thrown away.

Fashion/style- I don’t really have an existing fashion sense. I just wear what I like, and that changes pretty often. There’s quite a few things I own I wish I could still fit into.

Pattern- I actually pay quite a bit of attention to patterns. Most recently, all the wallpapers in Sherlock are wonderful. Is it weird that I noticed that?

Workout- any kind that doesn’t hurt my back.

Quote- Don’t sweat the small stuff, and remember that it’s all small stuff. My grandpa always said that. Always.

Historical figure- Ummmmmm. Can I just say The Doctor? He was in a lot of different histories.

Boy’s name- Funny story. I have always loved the name David Michael, and have always wanted to name a son that. But my boyfriend’s Dad’s name is David Michael, his brother’s name is David Michael Jr., my brother’s name is David, and my dad’s name was Michael. Soooo I probably won’t get to name my son that.

Girl’s name- Heaven Leigh. I’ll have a daughter to name Heaven Leigh one day.

Potato chip flavor- Regular chips are wonderful. But if I have to choose an obscure flavor I suppose I would choose sour cream and cheddar.

Meal of the day- Dinner? Something about the anticipation of it all day. I change my mind about 10 times in a day as to what I will be cooking that night for dinner.

Ice cream flavor- The other day I bought a little pint for Jimmy Fallon’s Ben&Jerry flavor called THE TONIGHT DOUGH. I mostly bought it because it was clever and sounded pretty good. It’s actually amazing, and I think it’s my new favorite.

Soda- I have been overly obsessed with Vanilla Coke lately. 😖 I dunno.

Popcorn flavor- the buttery-er the better. Movie theater butter is my friend.

Season- I love the fall.

Month of the year- either August or October.

Word- amalgamation. Disney princess- I love Jasmine. Or Bell. I love them all.

Insult- You’re such a dingus. (I probably say this at least once a day.)

Joke- “Why did the chicken cross the road?… BECAUSE YOU DIDN’T FUCKING COOK IT.” -Gordan Ramsay.

Cussword- Fuck.

Letter- I love signing the letter Z in sign language. =)

Eye color- I really love brown eyes. I have green eyes today, but they change. I really like eyes that look different from day to day.

Memory- any and every memory I have that involves my father in some way. The older I get the more difficult they are to recall, so any time something makes me remember something else about him I get happy.

Dessert- I’m not a big dessert person. But I do likes me some cheesecake.

Candy- I was raised by a man who was diabetic, so I think I always had a grudge against candy because I saw it as the reason my dad had to take 3 shots a day. So I didn’t eat much candy until I was older. Now I have a wicked sweet tooth, but I can only stomach a bite it two of whatever I eat. If it’s sweet I just can’t have much.

Restaurant- Nunzio’s. It’s always been my favorite restaurant. Mmm mm mmm Steak Sinatra.

Lifehack- Don’t be an asshole to people, and they usually won’t be an asshole to you. But if they are anyway, don’t let them walk all over you. Lifehack: you do not have to stay friends with people who are jerks to you. Just leave. Cut the drama out. You’ll be okay.

Language- I love ASL, and German is fun. I wish I was more fluent in both of those languages.

Thing to learn about- I love learning random trivial things that I can just bring up out of nowhere. Learning about space is also a huge mind fuck. I love it, but it scared the ever loving shit out of me.

Thing about yourself- I am who my dad would have wanted me to be. I am someone who he could be proud of. I love that about myself.

The questions went over so well last time I figured I would try it again. =)

Get to know me.

A) What does the last text you sent say? 
 “Now I just wish I could go to California instead of New York. Or back to Vegas to be with Barbie because she can’t take time off to go be with Aunt Babe. Ugh. I hate this.” … Just found out one of my Aunts who lives in California is in the hospital with only 15% of her heart working. =’( I am devastated over this, but I know she’d tell me to go to New York. She’s all about living life to the fullest and not passing up opportunities.

And to whom? It was to my mom.

B) What does the last text you recieved say? “Oh honey I’m so sorry I Love U so much! Here if you need me…”

And from whom?
 From my momma.

C) What time do you wake up most mornings?
 Usually to Dylan’s alarm. He sets it every day and then sleeps through it, so he relies on it waking me up so that I can wake him up. 😖 no clue how he’ll function when I’m gone.

D) Are you afraid of walking alone at night?
 Depends on where we’re taking about. Where I live it’s the middle of nowhere, so I could pitch a tent in the middle of my road on any given night and be perfectly fine. But you couldn’t pay me enough money to be willing to walk down the streets in the actual city where I live.

E) What do you do to relax at the end of a stressful day?
 I read. I read more than anything else. I probably spend more of my life reading than I do sleeping. I can’t help it. It’s how cope with not being able to sleep.

F) Where did your last kiss take place and with whom?
 Dylan kissed me on the cheek before he left for work this morning, but it’s been a couple days since I have been willing to kiss him. He’s sick right now and I am doing my damndest to avoid catching his cold because I’m going to New York in a week. =)

G) Do/did you get into trouble a lot at school?
 I almost NEVER got in trouble in school. I was like invisible girl.

H) Do you enjoy your job? If unemployed, are you content being so?
 Right now I work for the state as a child care provider. I’m working on getting my license so I can open an actual daycare. But at the moment I just watch two of my friends kids. They’re like my niece and nephew. I’ve been friends with their mom for almost 20 years.

I) Do you often pick up on double entendres and innuendos?
 I am usually the one inserting them into the conversation, so I’m pretty perceptive when someone else does.

J) Have you ever been offered drugs but declined?
 Many many times.

K) Have you ever met someone who has completely altered your way of thinking?
 I have. A few times. People have a strange effect on me.

L) Have you ever been offered drugs and accepted?
 Recently? Like in the last ten years? Really only if you’re talking like some sort of pain pill if I was out and about and didn’t have access to my own. And that was only ever in like a dire situation. That’s not to say I have NEVER done any type of drug. Just not since I was a seriously rebellious teenager.

M) Tell us something weird that turns you on.
 …when someone has actually read a book or series of books that I am in love with. And when someone can hold an intelligent conversation with me. I love talking to people who get me.

N) When did someone last admit romantic or sexual feelings for you? Was the feeling mutual?
 Hahahahahaha. I told my boyfriend earlier that he should to to Bing’s for us (a drive in restaurant that is right up the road from us) to get food. He said no, so I said “Please?!!? I’m really hungry and a Polish Sausage sounds really good right now.” He just deadpans and says “I could give you an American Sausage without going anywhere.” … I started cracking up laughing because he doesn’t say stuff like that to me. I just shook my head and started to walk away and he goes “It’s part German!!! Does that count?!” I had to shut the door in his face because I had lost my ability to even.

O) What is something you have given a lot of thought to lately?
 My life, and the fact that in my family when it rains it pours. I have lost so many people in my life that one would think I’d be used to it. Lately it’s been a shit storm of people passing away, and I just want a break from it all. Not even just for me, but for my Grama. She gets so torn up about losing people, with good reason. I just want her to have a year where she doesn’t have to bury someone.

P) When did you last swallow your beliefs to avoid an argument or confrontation?
 I don’t know that I have ever done that. Though I bite my tongue at times, if someone seriously offends my beliefs of those of someone I love- I am finding it harder and harder to avoid confrontation.

Q) Do you usually initiate hugs?
 Usually. But even if I don’t, I am always accepting of them. I love hugs. And cuddling is my favorite.

R) Are you a very affectionate person? I am. I really am. I haven’t always been able to say that.


S) Can you roll your own cigarettes? I can. I don’t, but I can.


T) What are you looking forward to?
 NEW YORK!!!! DARREN. Ugh! I get to go to New York with bitz-criss and I am so stoked.

U) Do you have any tattoos. Do you want any/more?
 I have 10 tattoos. I want so many more. I have a couple planned out. I just have to get them done.

V) Are you mentally strong?
 I would say so. I haven’t always been able to say that about myself, either.

W) Are you physically strong?
 I try. But since I got hurt I am not as strong as I once was.

X) Do you think you’re a good person?
 I do. I think that I was raised by one of the most amazing men to ever grace the planet (biased, I know) and I think that because of that I live my life in attempt to be everything I know my dad would want me to me. I think so far I’m actually doing a damn good job.

Y) Name one thing you wish you could change about your life right now.
 I wish that my family could have a break. I wish we could be okay. I just want to heal from all of the loss recently before something else gets thrown at me. At us. I worry way more for my family than I do for myself. I know I’ll make it through. I just wish I didn’t have to watch my Grama hurt like she does.

Z) What do you usually eat for breakfast? It’s a toss up whether or not I even eat breakfast. I usually take a while after waking up before I can stomach anything. Stupid ulcers. =\

If you could...

So, I found out recently that I get to go to New York next week to see Hedwig and the Angry Inch on Broadway. I am so incredibly excited, and beyond thankful to bitz-criss for giving me this opportunity. I figured I would answer some questions about myself now because I’m pretty awkward with the “Getting to Know you” thing in person. =P

Travel anywhere, where would it be? To New York. To see Darren Criss as Hedwig. Oh wait! Next weeeeeeeeek.

Meet anyone, who would it be? Darren Criss. But I’m also excited to go on this trip and meet bitz-criss. =)

Bring anyone dead back to life, who would it be? My daddy. But only if I could bring my Grampa back as well. I don’t think he’d be very happy without his daddy here.

Be anyone for a day, who would it be? Darren just to see what it’s like.

Get anything for free for the rest of your life what would it be? Money. Free money.

Change one thing about your life what would it be? The fact that I have been injured so many times in my life. I’m 24 and can barely function. I hate that I have gained so much weight thanks to my injuries not allowing me to move around very much. It’s a double edged sword.

Have any superpower what would it be? Maybe telekinesis. I am so sick of not being able to help anyone do anything because no one wants me to hurt myself. To be able to move things with my mind would be very helpful. That or some sort of healing power so I could keep my Grama with me for as long as possible. And help others.

Be any animal for a day which would you be? My cat because I would love to know what the hell she’s always yelling about. Her name is Meow for a reason.

Date anyone who would it be? I’m good right where I’m at with my Dylan. It’s been working for over 6 years now. Even though he’s sick and grumpy right now. =P

Change one thing about the world what would it be? The disgusting trait within human beings for the uncontainable need for war. Race war, war on terror, war over money. Any kind of war. It makes me sick.

Live in any fictional universe which would you choose? Harry Potter. I am still waiting for my Hogwarts letter to this day. I’ll keep checking for it forever, I’m sure.

Eliminate one of your human needs which would you get rid of? I think I would eliminate the need to sleep out of necessity. I just feel like I would enjoy sleeping much more than I already do if I could just do it for like recreation. I could get so much more done in the day.

Change one thing about your physical appearance what would it be? I would like to be back down to the weight I was before I got hurt. Weighing more makes my injuries hurt more, and it’s just a vicious cycle. I’m going to do it though. I’m going to lose the weight. Not because I don’t like the way I look like this, but because I want to feel better.

Change one of your personality traits which would you choose? I’m pretty okay with most of my personality. I think if anything I could do with a lesson on how to NOT take certain things so personally. Most things I can just brush off, but there are some things he that get to me like crazy and they really irk me. Because then I get mad at myself for having been bothered by it in the first place. Oy. Life. =P

Be talented at anything instantly what would you choose? The instruments that I have learned to play in the past. I would love to be able to pick them back up on a whim and be able to play them like I never stopped. I miss music. I’m going to get back into it. I just need some time.

Forget one event in your life which would you choose? I think I would like to forget that I have been hurt by the one person in my world who I never thought would hurt me. The day that I realized that we are not in fact best friends anymore, because I had been in denial for quite some time to think that she still cared about me as much as I did her, even from afar… It really hurt to come to the realization that my other half had readily removed herself from my life and never looked back.

Erase an event from history (make it so it never happened) which would you choose? There are so many terrible events in the world that I can think of that I wish would have never happened. But I think I would have to go with the holocaust. I’m not Jewish, but my grandfather was on the outside looking in when the holocaust was happening and he explained to me how terrible he felt that no one stepped in any sooner to help. So maybe Hitler’s existence would be better to have erased. Because if it wasn’t the holocaust he could have started something else.

Have any hair/eye/skin color, which would you choose? I quite like my hair, eye, and skin colors. I look a lot like my Dad, and I could never dislike that. Though I have changed my hair color many many times, my natural hair color is so dark brown that it looks black. Right now it’s purple and teal. =P I love it.

Be any weight/body type, which would you choose? I don’t want to be skinny, I would just like to get back to how I was about 3 years ago. I felt so wonderful about myself back then.

Live in any country/city, where would you choose? Right here. For the rest of my life if I have anything to say about it.

Change one law in your country, which would you change? The fact that same sex marriage isn’t allowed in all states is just mind boggling to me.

Be any height, which would you choose? I’m only about 5'1 and I’m okay with that. I see too many of my tall friends hit their heads on stuff too often. No thank you.

Have any job in the world, which would you choose? I would love to be a child psychologist/ grief counselor. Preferably one who also publishes books on the side. If I could write for the rest of my life and support myself doing so, I would love it.

Have anything appear in your pocket right now, what would it be? A blank check for exactly enough money to get my family out of debt entirely with enough left over to buy my Grama a decent car of her own. I don’t want any more than I need, I just want my grandma to be able to spend the rest of her life not worried about money or having too many bills to pay off that she can’t afford to do anything at all.

Have anyone beside you right now, who would it be? Someone alive? Probably my raynbow90. I miss him, even though I just saw him yesterday. I feel like I haven’t spent any time with him lately and that makes me sad.

Hi! So, I really love your Sherlock tattoo, and I'm very seriously considering getting a similar one. I've seen lots with just the flower in the middle, but I love that yours has the design around it. I was actually wondering if you have a picture of how the bottom of it looks? I'm not sure exactly where I want to cut off the design, so I was curious how you did yours :) (or if you had the actual design you used I would love you forever!!)

hi there!!! i’m actually really glad i’m able to pass along this stuff about this specific tattoo, because while i adore it, it was my first tattoo and there are a couple things that i wish i had thought about more practically before i got it!!

first thing is the size - i originally planned for it to be tiny, of course when i showed it to my artist he was like….. there’s no way i can do this this small. so my design went from about 1 inch to 4 inches which was something i was happy with, but if i had gone bigger it would have come out more clearly still. i’d say the bigger the better, within reason. because it’s such an intricate design, it’s very hard to tattoo, and as a result my artists ended up messing up a couple times and having to edit the design a little bit.

also make sure u go to an artist who is comfortable doing it - again it’s a tricky design and took my artist 3 hours when he estimated only 1.i’d say go to someone who is used to doing celtic-type, intricate designs, rather than someone’s who only uses black to do fine linework, but in the end as long as they feel confident about it then that’s cool! 

another thing which i wish i had thought better about is placement - i still really love the idea of having it over my heart, but as my boobs are quite big and the design was a lot bigger than i originally planned it to be, it unded up quite far to one side, meaning my poor artist had to do the really intricate art on really stretchy, thin skin on the side of my boob. 

i’m not sure if u have tattoos already, if u do, of course u will know most of this kind of stuff already!!

(if u send me ur email i can send u a rough picture of the template i used, one that i messed around with in photoshop until i got it right!!)
