a thing that keeps happening to me in this Skyrim playthrough is that I like go do a favor for someone or interact for a bit and go do something else and when I come back they are just gone. They’re not *dead* I don’t think cus they don’t show up in the hall of the dead they’re just. Disappeared.

growing up is weird because the friends and acquaintances you've seen grow up alongside you start having jobs and careers and suddenly you realise every adult you've ever met has spent their entire life being as clueless and childish as your friends and acquaintances, the adults, are now. one of my friends who asks for love advice from every single person who's willing to listen every time we go out and is always in some kind of mess is a practising psychotherapist now. a guy i know who's always kind of embarrassingly hitting on me's a high school teacher and all his students adore him and think he's super cool. i'm sure they're both really professional but i've seen these people blackout drunk. i can't imagine being her patient and thinking she's really insightful and kind, or being his student and having a little crush on him, and like. yeah i'm sure my own therapist's friends and my own high school teacher's friends feel the exact same way about them!
