I wasn't going to say anything about Jeffree Star and Kat Von D, but here I am, here's my thoughts. Neither of them are perfect and I think Jeffree said it best when he said everyone has a past. I feel it was wrong of Kat to post what she did and voice everything so publicly especially telling her fans not to attack him when she knew damn right that that would happen. As an artist what really angered me was the part about BJ Betts not getting paid for his services, after watching Jeffree's video I feel better knowing that he's been paid. At the same time who is to say what is 100% true in both their stories. Yes Jeffree Star is a bitch but in my opinion Kat Von D is no saint. I have never been a fan of hers, her art is great but I weigh character over talent and speaking to people who have been to her shop and interacted with her personally plus seeing her on tv I do not like her as a person. Her makeup brand is decent, but even then I love Jeffree's line more than hers. Side with whoever you want I saw both videos and at first I was pissed at Jeffree Star but after seeing his response and seeing their text messages I feel Kat was way out of line. Real friends don't treat each other that way, part of me thinks she's just jealous of how gorgeous he is and that he does makeup better than her. But that's none of my business *sips tea*
