"Waterfall" Proposal for Copenhagen Aquatic Center  -  COBE & BIG  

“ Danish firm COBE has released images of their proposed aquatic center in Copenhagen Harbor, a scheme entered for a design competition which was won by Kengo Kuma. The proposal, designed in collaboration with Bjarke Ingles Group (BIG), formed part of COBE’s competition-winning masterplan for Paper Island, which was chosen for development in 2016.”

Hi everyone!! This is some illustrations based on the story of Glacier’s Forge, Kanisa/Vidar by @ridersoftheapocalypse ~<3 It’s a lovely story between Kanisa and Vidar after they’re married and started living in Uskar~ :D

This is inspired by the lovely zelgan comic Tale of Two Rulers by the lovely @figmentforms, check her work out~! :D It’s awesome~

Bjarke is one of Vidar’s close friends. Bjorn is Vidar’s dad who is also a warrior veteran. Vidar is Hersir, Leading general. Angorn is either another Hersir under the Jarl Brynjolf, who is also Vidar’s jarl, or a second in command of Vidar. Not sure yet. 

Angorn and Jarl Byrnwolf are developed by @mintiture :) Read her stuff, it’s awesome!

La arquitectura según Bjarke Ingels

"La arquitectura es el arte y la ciencia de asegurarnos de que nuestras ciudades y edificios encajen realmente con la forma en que queremos vivir nuestras vidas: el proceso de manifestar nuestra sociedad en nuestro mundo físico."

Mi interés por esta definición nace de observar que logra sintetizar la arquitectura como una combinación de arte y ciencia, evitando los extremos de verla únicamente como una disciplina matemática/teórica. También es la más integral entre las demás definiciones, porque no sacrifica el rigor técnico por la belleza, ni la utilidad por la teoría, entendiendo la arquitectura como una herramienta que se adapta activamente a nuestra forma de vivir.
