Saw your post about Bjergtaget, and as a Dane it made me excited to see the characters in it are Danish! Not often do I see Danish characters or any references to Denmark outside of Danish speaking media, or jokes about alcohol/the government/statistics. The characters being Jewish in that time will be an interesting yet sad perspective too, given the history. I’m intrigued and very happy to see Danish history and lore getting some love <3
aahhhh thank you so much! Yeah, I'm excited to be working on a project that focuses on not only a country that, from my American perspective at least, I don't see represented a whole lot, but also a minority population within that country. I'm doing my best to draw these characters in a historically-faithful way that might teach people new things about a place, time, and culture they might not know much about, and maybe entice them to learn more about Danish and Jewish history!
