Nelson) All the nice old dry stone fences on today's lovely little walk together with my mother-in-law, reminded me of my dear late morfar (grandfather) and his generation. They built lots of them where I'm from as well. It would also be his birthday today, born 107 years ago. I've been passing these small #abandoned farm-like buildings when #cycling these past couple of years, but never stopped. They look really nice, just a few meters from the river bank. I've no idea what they are built for, but there's sheep around, so possibly related. The sun was high the light wasn't ideal.
