Day 365
It’s over - I’m calling it.
Day 113: I don't expect you to keep me as the most important person in your life because I'm not and that's okay. But I hope that when you think of me, you smile.
Day 112: Deep down I know this never worked.
Day 111: My mind runs away to you with the thought I hope you'll see. Can't see where it's wandered to, but I know where it wants to be.
Day 109: It's the basic fact that I will never ever know - if it's really the distance that's keeping you from coming back home.
Day 108: In time, the hurt began to fade and it was easier to just let it go. At least I thought it was. But in every boy I met in the next few years, I found myself looking for you, and when the feelings got too strong, I’d write you another letter. But I never sent them for fear of what I might find. By then, you’d gone on with your life and I didn’t want to think about you loving someone else. I wanted to remember us like we were that summer. I didn’t ever want to lose that.
Day 107: You can have Manhattan.
