Also Jessi...can I just say, like I ignore her to a point because I know she be on some other shit, but can I just say at this point, she’s really aggravating. Like okay, I get you’re American or whatever and celebrate being different among female rappers in Korea, but her whole ‘I’m basically black’ attitude really agitates me and every time I see her, I’m just reminded of it. The thing with Henry shows that she thinks she can speak on something like antiblackness, like she’s earned enough EXP in being Black™. 

Side note: No one even fucking says “gucci” anymore....?????? Like it’s not 2011? I’m aware she just came out with a song called “Gucci” as well (Btw), she still late as all hell.

So the song has been out for a while already but have you ever seen/ listened to Jessi’s “Down”? Apparently she has an alternate “sexier” MV that I happened to stumble upon and her backup dancers all have some form of cornrows or box braids. As much as I enjoy the song, this video may have ruined it for me 😒

Nope, I don’t touch anything Jessi is in because I really don’t like her but I can’t say I’m surprised.

yoo so tell me why jessi is at a wedding and she's snapping the whole thing right. somebody called this dude a "flower ass nigga" cause his hair was lookin wild. the next snap had the sound muted like she don't trust them. i've followed her part 1

for basically as long as she's been on snapchat publicly and she's never said nigga or typed it or anything and she plays and sings along rap and rnb all the time. if the word is in a song she'll just dance and move around without singing part 2

ik she can't control other people but before this blows up (which it might like the bambam thing) i wanted to talk about it and this seems like the place. the person who said it was at the wedding but not somebody in her regular crowd. final part

Honestly, I don’t know what else could be said because you’ve mentioned everything. I still have my reservations about Jessi but she does seem to know better than to do certain things (which is a lot more than I can say for other KHH folks). She absolutely cannot control someone and I don’t know if I’ll hold something a rando said in a bg of a snap but yeah?

Jessi never fail to amaze me, she was stating that just because people do hip hop does not mean they have tattoos or a bad and the other stereotypes. Then she went on to say that it is a life style and its nothing you put on or take off like the chains or the layer of clothing. She said all of this while shading the person sitting next to her dressed up as the stereotypical hip hop person. hahaha

While she does some things where I’m like “uh...okay...” other times she really makes good points.

I'm really surprised and kind of relieved that Jessi doesn't use the n-word anymore? I was watching Jessi's video for Sweetem where she was singing Chris Brown's Loyal and she skipped the first n-word, and replaced the second one with 'never' which worked just fine for the song.
