in an attempt to cope with the many unaddressed "i should be dead but i'm not" traumas ryou asks malik if he will do a mockup autopsy. like as if ryou had suddenly died in the living room or something and malik is the one examining the scene. and malik is like yeah okay this is weird but he does it anyway because he can't say no to ryou and this seems relatively harmless unlike some of ryou's past bad ideas.

so ryou is lying on the floor pretending to be dead and malik is kneeling there like "okay uh... time of death estimated to be 3 pm?" and he touches ryou's side, and ryou starts giggling and malik is like "that's not very dead of you. shut up. you're supposed to be dead" which just makes ryou laugh more

they hang the autopsy report on the fridge and it scares jounouchi, who now believes ryou is genuinely a ghost
