Nearly all caught up on Black Mirror. Caught Archangel, which I found typically unsettling to watch--I'd worked doing parenting education at one point and learned how parent-child interactions impact on children's neurological development, so the thing with the kid having distressing images censored just fucked me up.
Meanwhile, I hated Crocodile and only saw it through as the lady murdering everyone to cover her tracks had short super blonde hair and kinda reminded me of Amanda 😂
Jesus, Nosedive was such a difficult episode to watch. Anxiety level notched up to 11 there, getting immersed in social media feedback loops and being fixated on external affirmation like that, it was way too real on a personal level 😩😩😩😩
Also, I picked the weirdest time to watch Black Mirror's 'White Bear's with the whole Nasser trial going on. Ik the whole message of the ep is around questioning the morality around how far we should go as a society to punish people for their crimes, and also the issues with making it into a public spectacle/example for people as a deterrent. It prob says a lot about my current headspace that I was just like, 'eh, idc let her suffer' at the end *shrugs* 😯
