I’m laying on the tour bus in a fetal position because these cramps are so bad. The medicine I took hasn’t kicked in yet and it need to hurry up. Tom should be finished performing by now. I scroll through social media trying to distract myself. I turn down the brightness feeling a headache add itself to my resume of pain.

The tour bus door opens and the whole crew picks themselves on here but Tom is nowhere to be found. “Where’s Tom?” I ask Travis who was the closet getting a beer

“At CVS he should be back in a second” I roll my eyes turning back to the wall

“You ok?”

“I’m on my period and it’s bad”

“Oh god” they all exclaim

“Shut up” I just wanna be held right now and he’s taking too gotdamn long for comfort

“Do you need... anything” Mark asks

“No thanks” I say “I just want Tom”

I keep scrolling through social media and I hear the door open again. I look up seeing my boyfriend with bags in his hand and big smile on his face “finally. Let’s move out” Mark yells. I close my eyes feeling the headache radiate stronger as well as the cramps. Tom comes closer and kisses my head “how my gushy little peach” I flip him off earning a laugh. I turn my body to face him “can you just hold me tonight please”

He looks at me with a soft smile “Yea of course. I got you some pads, Tylenol, and chocolate”

“Aww thank you” I smile. I pull him in the bed and he wraps his arms around me. I move to get more comfortable and lay on his chest while Mark hands him a beer.

“If you don’t marry her I’ll shoot you” he laughs clanking his bottle with Tom’s

“Trust me I will”
