What ever happened to the middle ground?

Everyone seems to have an opinion on Colin Kaepernick. You are either against the guy that disrespected the flag, anthem, and all that it stands for. Or, you are against the racist establishment of billionaire white owners. Like every political and/or social issue the country, it seems absurdly divided with nobody in the middle.
