You can enjoy the rich taste of tangy goat cheese ice cream mixed with a bright blackberry-red wine sauce. This classy dessert is great for people who like desserts with different tastes and textures.
Ingredients: 2 cups heavy cream. 1 cup whole milk. 3/4 cup sugar. 4 oz goat cheese, softened. 1 tsp vanilla extract. 1/2 cup blackberries. 1/4 cup red wine.
Instructions: Over medium heat, mix heavy cream, milk, and sugar in a saucepan. Stir the mixture until the sugar is gone and it's warm, but not boiling. Softened goat cheese should be mixed in a bowl until it is smooth. Slowly pour the warm cream mixture into the goat cheese while whisking all the time until everything is well mixed. Add vanilla extract and stir. Put the mix in the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight with the lid on. Over medium heat, cook blackberries and red wine in a small saucepan until the berries break down and the mixture gets a little thicker, about 10 minutes. Take it off the heat and let it cool down. Use an ice cream maker and follow the directions on the box to make the chilled ice cream base thick and creamy. In a container, put layers of the churned ice cream and spoonfuls of the blackberry-red wine swirl in a certain order. To make it look like marble, gently swirl it with a knife or skewer. Put it in the freezer for at least 4 hours, or until it gets firm. If you want, you can serve the goat cheese ice cream with an extra blackberry-red wine swirl on top.
