Borrower AU! My favorite book and game to play when I was a kid. :)

I imagine Simon and Taka have a home in a hole in a tree somewhere; she sleeps in the center, and Simon has carved/built little hollows and additions into the wooden walls for his living space. They stay away from the human house mostly, but sneak in through a cracked basement window sometimes to borrow this and that.

Bobby would be a house borrower. My sister had the idea that his aviators are a pair of thick plastic ones that used to be a doll accessory, and I imagine his bag is full of bang snaps to use to fend off mice or spiders.

These two are for @blackbrightweek's Free Day, and I've got some more characters in progress, too!
