"Negro Bedwench?" Who Needs Them?
To be or not to be, that is indeed is the most important question. Today in the black community the proverbial line in the sand has been not only drawn in the sand, but it has also been dug out and filled with water and alligators. Yes ladies and gentlemen, a horrific rift has been erected between black men and women. I am not here to discuss who, what, when, where, or how because that has been an error on our elders behalf for 50 sum odd years. Enough is enough people. The black community has been sold out by several groups, but today we are going to focus on one in particular that Tariq Nasheed has eloquently called the Negro Bed Wench. Also let me state something before any of you ladies get your Brazilian Blowouts or lace fronts in a wad. This is not an attack on all black women. This is a dialogue about the traitors of the black community who side with white supremacy under the guise of Black Feminism, and for the last 50 years they have been pushing an agenda Nasheed calls the “Negro Bed Wench Mentality.”
Recently I had the privilege of reading an article by Ms. Shafiqah Hudson in Ebony Magazine, Negro Bed wench, Negro Please. In the article Hudson made a frivolous argument that the decedents of slaves, who were captured in Africa, and brought to the Americas, could not “draw true parallels between the lives/experiences of so-called Free Black People in the United States in the present, and the lives/experiences of so-called enslaved Black People in the United States under slaver.” Really Shafiqah, I mean really. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to recognize that even though things have changed many things for so-called Blacks have remained the same.
Let’s look at the modern United States, and lets see if things are quite similar. For starters, today we are no longer slaves to Mr. Charley, but we are slaves to the corporate dollar, hints slavery of a different name. Now you are an employee instead of a slave. Just like during slavery days we have to follow Mr. Charley’s order or feel the brunt of the whip, or in today’s time be blackballed from getting hired again. Sisters let your perm grow out and rock your beautiful wooly hair and see what happens. Brother’s take off your Business suit and rock your Moorish, Ethiopian, Nigerian, Nigerian, and other African countries regalia, and see how quick Mr. and Mrs. Charley have you escorted out of the office. Secondly, we are now facing Jim Crow’s son, and he’s not wearing all white, he’s rocking some skinny jeans, a designer tee, and some Lebron’s, oh my bad sounds like I am talking about Justin Beiber. But I know you are catching my drift. Now brother’s aren’t being lynched they are being gunned down in the street for the exact same reason they were lynched. What is that reason, because he’s not white, and he doesn’t deserve a life. Last but not least cooning is at an all time high, and now its going digital. Remember this, “Masa we’s fogive Paula Dean, we going to be some good Nigrasm, and eat us some of her sweet potatoe pie. I’s dress up like a slave, and work for her. Really people?
Anyways I digress. Had to clear the lane before the Feminsit and Uncle Tom’s brought tried to trap me. But with all of this there is one group that is far more detrimental to the black community. This group is Uncle Tom’s wife and Mr. Charley’s side piece, the Negro Bed Wench. This is an epidemic right now. Women are bed wenching in plain sight, and no one seems to care. Well ladies, there are more and more men of African countries’ decent who are waking up, and enough is enough. I don’t care if you want to date out side of your race. That is not a problem of mine. My problem is when you want to date outside of your race, and railroad the so-called black community.
Is the Negro Bed Wench a friend or foe? We know for damn sure she is no friend. I’m a history buff, and there are several stories of how the Negro Bed Wench told the master about the plans for escape, and the attempts were thwarted. Men, women, and children were beaten, were slain, and were lynched while the Negro Bed Wench juggled Master Charley’s nuts. My apologies for the language, but we have to be real. Not only was she a great juggler, but she also enjoyed the perks of being Masa Charley’s pet. For any of you looking for a reference point, please rent the Tony Tarintino film Django Unchainedand focus on Sheba and Calvin Candy’s relationship.
Men like Tariq Nasheed have begun to battle against the Matriarchal structure of the so-called black community. Look around ladies and gentlemen, men are not running our community. For every 1000 women there are presumably 750 men, but this was in the era of J.A. Rodgers. Sadly, that number may be even greater now in the so-called black community today due to abortion and the mindless killings in the street. We have to realize that shows like Scandal glorify the Negro Bed Wench, but it also should be a lesson to us all. To all my beautiful sisters reading this, notice Olivia Pope is only good enough to be the President’s whore. Kola Boof, a noted Black Feminist stated, “I would rather be a white man’s whore than the gum on a black man’s shoe.” What does that mean? Is she saying being just a disposable piece of tail is better then struggling with a black man who is trying to pick his community up? Black men and women are the gum on the bottom of White Supremecy and Black Feminists shoes. We have to circle our wagons around our families, and begin to build. Build self-esteem for self, then love for the community, and learn about who we were in order to become who we shall be. Friend or Foe, there is no place for a Black Feminist or Negro Bed Wench in the community.
