Alhumdulilah (Praise God) Starting Year 2 of my Doctoral Program with a bang 💥 👩🏾‍🏫 My department @nyusteinhardt (Administration, Learning, and Technology) nominated me for the #UCEA #BarbaraLJacksonScholar award. This amazing opportunity places graduate students of color in the Jackson Scholar Network, which exposes us to formal networking, mentoring, and professional development opportunities to enhance their pathways to become professors of educational leadership. Students are matched with a UCEA professor with similar research interests and are supported to attend both the #UCEA and #AERA conferences for the two years. I am so thankful for this opportunity and look forward to representing @nyusteinhardt and my department. I have to thank my fellow sisters @ms7storm and @aishaalways for their support and guidance and connecting me with the students of color at AERA and NYU.
