Mixed Berry Cobbler Recipe

I think I hallucinated blackberry season without any kind of hallucinogenic? I was convinced that because spring was passed that it had already happened but then I saw blackberry flowers and was so confused because flowers appear before fruit and I was thinking blackberries are just weird. Then remembered that blackberry season is late summer/early autumn

Blackberry Meringue Bars

The original recipe!

Crust

2 cups gluten free all purpose flour

2/3 cup sliced almonds

2/3 cup sugar

1 cup softened butter

topping

2 cups fresh blackberries

4 egg whites at room temp

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1/3 cup sugar

3/4 cup sliced almonds

Preheat oven to 350. Line a 13x9 pan with foil and create a sling. Cut a 13x9 piece of parchment and line on top of the foil. 

Mix the crust ingredients at low speed until a dough forms and press into the pan. Prick all over with a fork. Bake 25 minutes. 

Place blackberries in a processor until pureed. Spread evenly over crust. 

In a mixer beat egg whites for a minute and a half when soft peaks form. Sprinkle 1/3 cup sugar over top and mix until stiff peaks form. Gently spread over blackberries. Sprinkle with almonds. 

Bake 10-12 minutes. 

Cool completely. Remove bars with sling and slide bars on a cutting board and cut into 36 bars.

［ニューヨーク　１４日　ロイター］ - 韓国のサムスン電子＜005930.KS＞がカナダのスマートフォンメーカー、ブラックベリー＜BB.TO＞＜BBRY.O＞に対し買収を打診していたことが、ロイターが入手した文書や関係筋の話で明らかになった。 買収提案額は最大で７５億ドル。ブラックベリーが持つ一連の特許が魅力となっているとみられる。 関係筋によると、両社の担当者は先週、買収の可能性を協議するために会合を開いた。サムスンは１株当たり１３．３５─１５．４９ドルでの買収を打診。ブラックベリーの現時点の株価に３８─６０％のプレミアムを乗せた水準となる。 内々の交渉だとして、この関係筋は匿名を希望した。 ブラックベリーは、いかなる買収の可能性についてもサムスンと協議したことはないとのコメントを公表した。 またサムスンも、ブラックベリー買収の計画はないと否定。広報担当者は「報道は根拠がない」と述べた。 これとは別にカナダのグローブ・アンド・メール紙は１４日、ブラックベリーが過去数カ月複数の買収提案を見送っていたと報じた。取締役会と主要株主が、自社のリストラ戦略の方が投資家価値を高められると判断したという。 同紙によると、買収提案の中には７０億ドル超の価格提示もあった。同社の取締役会は、これは今後数年で予想される同社の資産価値を大幅に下回ると考えている。 ロイターの報道を受け米市場上場のブラックベリー株は商いを伴って急騰。この日の取引を前日終値比２９．７１％高の１２．５９５ドル近辺で終えた。  関係筋によると、買収が成立すればサムスンはブラックベリーの特許にアクセスできるようになり、ライバルのアップル＜AAPL.O＞に対抗する上でプラスになる。 サムスンによる買収について、ブラックベリーの主要株主であるフェアファックス・フィナンシャル・ホールディングス＜FFH.TO＞率いるプレム・ワトサ氏は賛成するとみられる。 ブラックベリーの第３・四半期（９─１１月）決算は、売上高が７億９３００万ドルと、前年同期の１１億９０００万ドルから減少し、アナリスト予想の９億３１５０万ドルも下回った。 ブラックベリーは昨年１１月、サムスンとのセキュリティーパートナーシップを発表。ブラックベリーのセキュリティープラットホームと、サムスンのギャラクシー端末向けの独自セキュリティーソフトウエアを結びつけるものとなる。
