Adaptational Heroism: his canon counterpart, Dabi, is a villain.

Big Brother Instinct: very protective of his younger siblings (especially Shouto, the youngest) and children in general.

Blessed with Suck: he has a very powerful Fire Quirk (even stronger than his father's), but having inherited his mother's Ice Quirk user genes he can't use it to its full potential without burning himself.

Covered With Scars: not as much as his canon counterpart, but he still has a good amount of burn scars on his upper body due to his Quirk.

Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: whenever he has to work alongside his father.

Adaptational Superpower Change: it's unknown what her Quirk was in canon (or if she had a Quirk at all); this version inherited a weaker version of her paternal grandmother's original Quirk.

Genius Cripple: can't walk without the aid of a wheelchair or a cane and is a self-taught genius hacker.

Hates Their Parent: has nothing but contempt for her late father Kotarou.

"He won't even realize what hit him." Kakeru agreed softly, lips still ghosting over Suoh's forehead as he held the other close, one gloved hand resting on Suoh's lower back. 

"Want me to sneak into his office and leave a bloody Tower tarot card on his desk? Superstitious as he is, it'll spook him quite a bit." It probably wouldn't jave helped with Suoh's current situation, but Kakeru's hands itched with that familiar urge he got whenever one of his loved ones was upset, to do something, whatever he could, to make them feel better.

Touya groaned, eyes struggling to open even though he was fully conscious by then. His head throbbed dully, no doubt from the blow that had knocked him out. He should have known better, criminals like those never fought fair. He almost wanted to laugh hysterically at the notion that those idiots' idea was to attack him in order to attract Enji's attention; as if the old man had ever given a damn abiut his oldest, Quirkless son.

Back on the current situation, he seemed to be lying down on something soft, although when he tried to get up he found that he couldn't, feeling metal dig into his wrists. Not so idiots then, they'd at least thought about restraining him. That was a problem.

"Damn it..." Touya cursed under his breath, wriggling his wrists to see if he could somehow slip free. Nope, no such luck. Damn. Now what?

On his doorstep was left a small basket, covered with a black cloth with his name scrawled onto a piece of paper resting beside it. The other side of the paper read 'I hope you enjoy these -S.J.' Inside of the basket was a fresh Tarot card collection, a rare design that very few people could get their hands on, along with a few packets of Kakeru's favourite confectionery, and a fine bottle of wine. "What on earth...?" Kakeru gingerly picked up the gift basket, though the tension in his shoulder eased when he read the card and recognized the familiar handwriting and signature. He couldn't help a low chuckle, because really, this was so typical Suoh behavior it almost made Kakeru feel nostalgic. 

The bottle of wine (Kakeru had to whistle at the brand - quite a fine choice) was swiftly placed into the fridge to chill, and he allowed himself to snack on a few candies before placing the rest of the packets away. It was really nice of Suoh, remembering what kind of snacks he preferred. He positively glowed at the sight of the tarot deck though; he could tell it was a rare specimen and he couldn't wait to add it to his collection once he was done browsing (and cooing over) the cards.

"Not this close to my workplace." Kakeru huffed, casually sauntering further into the alley, a lit cigarette held between his index and middle finger. He'd been clearly in the middle of a cigarette break when he'd noticed those shady-looking people going after Suoh.

"Now, gentlemen" Kakeru said to the ruffians, a smile as fake as it was charming and voice dripping sugary poison "in other circumstances I would have sat back and enjoyed the show, but you're dangerously close to a place filled with people that have little tolerance for lowlives such as you. Lucky for you, I'm one of the nicest ones so I'm giving you the chance to leave without calling security."

"Oh!"

Kakeru blinked in surprise when Suoh straddled his lap, immediately curling up into himself, face firmly tucked against Kakeru's chest, messy black hair tickling the former con artist's chin.

Kakeru hesitated a moment before lifting gloved hands to carefully hold the other man close, leather-clad fingers gently sliding through messy black hair. 

"Old habits are hard to die, mh?" He remembered how Suoh used to curl up in his lap for comfort when sick, injured or in pain, something he seemed to have retained although they were no longer together. The poor man must have been exhausted...
