4. Your character walking in on mine in the shower.
"….." Turning her head to the side, she noticed to a certain squad leader staring at her. Observing his look the brunette was amused every time he accidently walk in on her taking a shower on her own will. "Did you run out of hot water or you came here to join~?"

"Just because you ranked second you think you're so much better then us. Tch. You're a coward entering the Military Police!" Their mocking remarks still rang clear in the tear haired male's head, always rising to the top whenever he allowed himself to think back on his decision. He was positive he had made the right one, to aid humanity by protecting humans within the wall. But that hadn't been the case. The Military Police were cowards, none of them even willing to form a team of patrol or touch their maneuver gear. Strange, considering they were supposed to be soldiers.
That was how his game had been created. It started on foot, but that wasn't enough. He took it to air, tossing a ball back and forth and calculating exactly how it hit against the rooftops and bounced back. He knew how to pass it to pure excellence, surprising many below when the ball suddenly appeared in their past, and disappeared just as quick. The male became a shadow, one without a light, who merely blended into the darkness. His presence became more and more unnoticed as the days went on, all jumping when he chose to speak, or when he was finally recognized.
It was only upon joining the Recon Corps did he realize his talent in the maneuver gear could become useful, to actually aid in humanities advance against the titans. Not once did he ever harbor any regret for not choosing this squad in the first place, and it was only now as he sat in a room in the barracks did he even think on it. Like others, Tetsuya cared. His ways of expressing it however where strange. His expression remained deadpanned for most missions, not even a gleam of excitement in his eyes when he played his little game alone at night.
The only change occurred when he was in the field. When the titans were before him, he became someone else. Blending in to whatever surroundings he could find, he made quick use of his lack of prescence and appeared out of seemingly no where. The titans themselves would even recoil in their own ways. It was in these moments that determination would be clear on the young boy's face, an unmistakable desire to be used.
His thoughts had brought him elsewhere, however he was still quite aware of what lay around him. So when the door opened, he stood and placed a clenched fist over his heart. "Sir."
"That isn’t mine."
"Then who is its?"

--Captain, why? [/sigh again, letting his shirt fall from his shoulders]

He sighs. “… Finally someone else other than these annoying soldiers in my bed …”
"… I hope I’m not too late, am I?"

"To die in vain, failing to complete what you’ve put your life on the line for. That in my opinion, is the worse way to die."
