Babygirl you're the reason i ship two angels together so gimme some lovely headcannons so i can write/draw them cause i have a mighty need for vaggie and emily wholesomeness

Oh my goodness, where to start where to start?

They either officially met either when Vaggie returned to heaven to help make the transition easier on redeemed sinners (ala @whamgram 'a under my skin story) or when Emily took over duties at the heavenly embassy in hell and Charlie offered her a suite at the newly rebuilt hotel as a place to live

Emily is absolutely fascinated by Hell even if the people there think she's an even bigger ditz than Charlie

Following that, Emily had to wonder what had happened that one of their own had been left in hell for at least three years and actively pursued Vaggie for answers

Vaggie had a really hard time accepting her feelings at first because it would only have been after she broke up with Charlie that she starts to realize she doesn't really know herself and she's also afraid to fuck things up with Emily the way keeping secrets fucked things up with Charlie

Charlie was the one to encourage Vaggie and Emily to confess to one another because even though it's not romantic anymore she still deeply loves Vaggie and wants to see her happy

To that end she set up a bunch of rom com scenarios to try and push the two of them together. Not a single one of them worked

Despite how tough and standoffish Vaggie is Emily is actually the one in the relationship who is more direct about stuff. She's the "she asked for no pickles" one and Vaggie's the "kick his ass baby I got yo halo" one

Vaggie is Emily's first in a lot of things; while I think she may have indulged in relationships in heaven nothing was ever so messy or complicated or real as it is with someone that's experienced real sorrow. There's a bit of a learning curve but it's something Emily relishes

Emily adores brushing Vaggie's hair and preening her wings

Since Emily's whole purpose in heaven is spreading joy, it's an ability that radiates from her naturally. The happier she is, the more euphoric the air around her is. Meaning that literally EVERYONE can tell when she got some because she's literally glowing and no one can be in her presence for more than five minutes without getting a contact joy high

Since Vaggie went without her wings for so long her and Emily often practice to get Vaggie reused to the muscles. Vaggie often ends up falling out of the sky and Emily carries her bridal style in her arms back to safety

Emily adores spoiling Vaggie and buys her a ton of stuff that she doesn't need.

One time Emily got covered in blood (and other unidentifiable fluids) so while they laundered her clothes they gave her some of Vaggie's. Vaggie came home from an errand to see Emily in the outfit from the pilot and blue screened right in the middle of the lobby

Emily isn't really into combat but she loves watching Vaggie fight

I like to think they dance like ruby and sapphire do, this sort of joyous lighter than air dizzy with happiness dance

While Vaggie is skilled in melee combat Emily's strength lies in long range weaponry

Emily gets unnecessarily pouty and jealous when other women flirt with Vaggie. Vaggie finds this adorable
